Dr. Bailey earned his DVM from Michigan State in 1986 beginning his career in small animal emergency practice.  He transitioned to feline practice 1992 and earned ABVP certification in 2011. His interests include complicated medical & surgical cases, critical care, and dentistry.  In addition to being a VIN Feline Folder consultant, Dr. Bailey is an active member of the AAFP, ABVP, AVMA, and MVMA. He is a currently an officer for his regional SEMVMA and sits on the board of the MVMA.  In his free time, Dr. Bailey enjoys paddling and sailing in the Great Lakes and Gulf of Mexico.
